| 1. |
Crack D Code will not require the participants to do anything on a computer. The event would judge the ability of the student to analyze the problem without the use of a computer. |

The participants will be penalized for inappropriate answers and unwarranted comments on the answer sheet. |
| 3. |
All the programs would be in algorithmic language. |
| 4. |
There will be three sections – Missing Code, Jumbled Code and Predict the Output. |

(i) Missing Code will require the participants to fill in the missing logic and syntax for the program so as to get the required output.
(ii) Jumbled Code will require the participants to re-arrange the segments of the program so that it gives the desired output.
(iii) Predict the Output will require the student to analyze the given program source code and give the expected output for a given sample input. |
